Abstract

The continuous process of development of information and communication technologies has enabled companies to be mobile in the exercise of their business functions, as well as the ability to remotely access the consumer market in other states in cross-border transactions with no need to have a physical presence. In this context, this article proposes to analyze whether it is possible to apply to this new economy the nexus elements provided for the taxation of income earned by companies in commercial transactions abroad.
