Abstract
Neste ensaio, argumenta-se que as questões contemporâneas estratégicas e de geopolítica, que o autor denomina Surrealpolitik, requerem uma reflexão muito ampla sobre o que significa defesa em um país como o Brasil. O texto, além de explorar o conceito de Surrealpolitik, faz algumas recomendações sobre como configurar um pensamento e uma prática de defesa no Brasil.
