DOI: https://dx.doi.org/10.38116/RR-IWC.https://repositorio.ipea.gov.br/handle/11058/20334In preparation for Brazil’s presidency of the BRICS in 2025, the Institute for Applied Economic Research (Ipea) coordinated a series of workshops involving around forty experts and professionals from more than fifteen Brazilian institutions, aimed at formulating strategic recommendations across five priority areas of the bloc’s agenda. The initiative reinforced Brazil’s role as a driver of innovative, pragmatic proposals aligned with the needs of the global South. This report consolidates 24 recommendations that directly contributed to the drafting of the document submitted to the BRICS Think Tanks Council (BTTC). It reflects the collective effort of the Brazilian technical community to support and enhance Brazil’s BRICS presidency, offering concrete inputs for policymaking aimed at building a more inclusive, cooperative, and needs-driven global governance system. The recommendations combine ambition and pragmatism, innovation and responsibility – essential attributes for tackling the challenges of a rapidly evolving international landscape, particularly in the pursuit of the Sustainable Development Goals.40engAcesso AbertoIpea workshop cycle : BRICS 2025ReportInstituto de Pequisa Econômica AplicadaCooperação InternacionalLicença ComumÉ permitida a reprodução deste texto e dos dados nele contidos, desde que citada a fonte.
