Title: Some thoughts concerning the marketing of Brazilian coffee in the United States

Abstract: This paper describes in analytical form certain conditions which affect the marketing of Brazilian coffe in the United States. Some of the principal relationships discussed in this study are obtained from the interesting and valuable work of Antonio Delfim Neto and Carlos Alberto de Andrade Pinto as published in O Café do Brasil : Vinte Anos de Substituição no Mercado Internacional. This present paper is not meant to provide a critique of the Anpes study but to offer some thoughts which in part, at least, were stimulated by that study.
