Abstract
Aborda a importância da inovação tecnológica para o desenvolvimento econômico do Brasil, destacando que países que investem em ciência e tecnologia alcançam crescimento sustentável e inserção em mercados internacionais de maior valor agregado; o Instituto de Pesquisa Econômica Aplicada (Ipea) realiza estudos sobre inovação tecnológica, organizacional e comercial, analisando seus impactos no crescimento econômico, produtividade das empresas, comércio exterior, geração de empregos e investimentos; a inovação é vista como essencial para melhorar a competitividade das empresas brasileiras e promover o desenvolvimento industrial e tecnológico do país.
