Abstract
O objetivo desta investigação foi mostrar em que medida a problemática da heterogeneidade industrial encontra-se enraizada nas estruturas econômicas multiescalares regionais, em especial no Centro-Oeste brasileiro no período de 2000 a 2010. Para tanto, foram utilizados os recursos técnicos da pesquisa bibliográfica e adotou-se o método analítico, descritivo e estatístico. Os resultados encontrados demonstram que, em nível regional, para os anos de 2000 e 2010, há uma forte heterogeneidade entre as regiões Norte, Nordeste, Sul e Sudeste. Esse mesmo padrão também é encontrado para as Unidades da Federação (UFs) e para as microrregiões e os municípios do Centro-Oeste. Por fim, pela análise do índice de crescimento da produtividade do trabalho (PT) constata-se que aqueles municípios que apresentaram valores de índices de PT superiores às médias estaduais encontram-se em porções específicas dos territórios dos estados de Goiás, Mato Grosso e Mato Grosso do Sul.

The purpose of this research was to show to what extent the problem of industrial heterogeneity is rooted in multi-scalar regional economic structures, particularly in the Brazilian Midwest from 2000 to 2010. Therefore, the technical features of the literature were used and the analytical descriptive and statistical method was adoped. The results show that, at the regional level, for the years 2000 and 2010, there is a strong heterogeneity between the North, Northeast, South and Southeast. This same pattern is also found for the Federation Units (FUs) and the micro-regions and municipalities in the Midwest. Finally, the analysis of labor productivity growth rate notes that those municipalities that showed labor productivity index values higher than state averages are in specific portions of the territories of the states of Goiás, Mato Grosso and South Mato Grosso.
