Abstract

In 2024, Brazil’s Single Registry underwent a crucial preparation phase leading to the full launch of the New Single Registry in March 2025. After over a decade of technological stagnation, the updated platform introduced major improvements in data integration, agility, security, and operator training for over 40,000 professionals nationwide. With artificial intelligence, enhanced interoperability with federal databases, and a robust remote training system, the registry has become a more effective tool for identifying and supporting low-income families. The update enabled automated removal of inactive records, inclusion of gender identity markers, and expanded vulnerability assessments, positively impacting over 35 million people.
