Abstract
Este artigo objetivou analisar a eficiência na geração de igualdade na distribuição de renda dos municípios paranaenses para os anos de 2000 e 2010, utilizando a análise envoltória de dados (DEA) e a análise da fronteira estocástica (SFA). Para tanto, fez-se uso das seguintes variáveis: estoque de capital (obtido a partir do consumo de energia elétrica), despesa com educação e cultura, população economicamente ativa ocupada e expectativa de anos de estudo. Os resultados apontam para um aumento nos municípios eficientes ou próximos à fronteira de eficiência no período analisado, o que corrobora a provável melhoria na distribuição de renda no estado. Os municípios com o maior nível de “produto” condizem com os que obtiveram os melhores escores de eficiência, analisando principalmente o ano de 2010. No entanto, os municípios que utilizaram os maiores níveis de insumos não corresponderam, necessariamente, àqueles com maior escore de eficiência.

This article aims to analyze the efficiency in the generation of equity in the distribution of income from Paraná districts for the years 2000 and 2010, using data envelopment analysis (DEA) and the stochastic frontier analysis (SFA). For this, use was made of the following variables: capital stock (obtained from electricity consumption), expenditure on education and culture, the economically active population employed and expected years of schooling. The results point to an increase in efficient municipalities or near the efficiency frontier in the period analyzed, which confirms the improvement in income distribution in the state. The municipalities with the highest level of output match those that have the best efficiency scores, especially analyzing the year 2010. However, municipalities that used the highest levels of inputs did not match necessarily those with the highest score efficiency.
