dc.description.abstractEste capítulo apresenta uma reflexão acerca do Mecanismo de Desenvolvimento Limpo (MDL) no sentido de detectar se há chance de enquadrar a experiência do MDL no conceito de mudança transformacional (transformational change - TC). Auxiliarão para testar ter havido, ou não, a TC o conteúdo dos capítulos anteriores e algum histórico do MDL selecionado conforme o perceber dos autores deste capítulo. Com esse exercício, pretende-se mensurar se, efetivamente, houve, no legado do MDL, mudança perene e se, em alguma medida, essa experiência pode fornecer subsídios - e quais são, caso existam - para a formulação de novos mecanismos ora em debate no regime internacional de negociações sobre mudança do clima.pt_BR
dc.description.abstractalternativeThis chapter brings a reflection on the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) in order to detect if there is a chance to frame the CDM experience into the concept of transformational change (TC). To test whether or not TC has happened, the content of the previous chapters and some CDM history selected by the authors of this chapter will help as subsidies. This exercise aims at measuring if there was, in fact, a perennial change induced by the CDM implementation, and if, to some extent, this experience can provide inputs – and which inputs, if there is any – for the formulation of new mechanisms under discussion in the international regime of negotiations on climate change.pt_BR
