Brings together contributions from international experts on the challenges and solutions to overcome barriers to food security and nutrition within the scope of social protection. Organized by the Institute for Applied Economic Research (Ipea), the International Policy Centre for Inclusive Development (IPCid), and the World Food Programme (WFP), the volume addresses topics such as public policies, international cooperation, poverty, inequality, and sustainable development, highlighting the centrality of nutrition in building more robust and inclusive social protection systems capable of promoting resilience, human capital, and economic growth in countries of the Global South.
