Abstract

O trabalho objetiva testar a existência da segmentação no mercado de trabalho brasileiro e avaliar o quanto ela contribui para a desigualdade no Brasil. Além de avaliar a extensão dos diferenciais de salários interindustriais e sua contribuição para a desigualdade, testa a hipótese de que esses diferenciais não são totalmente devido às dissimilaridades nas qualicações produtivas dos trabalhadores.
